Exciting news! Today we are making Jobsket available to everyone.
Yes. It is true. Jobsket is now available to the public!
It’s taken several months of hard work to get a solid product out the door. We would like to thank everybody that has signed up to the beta program for all your support and the time you have dedicated to trying our service. All your dedication has allowed us to create a stronger and more useful product.
As you may already know, there is two localized versions of Jobsket: Jobsket.es and Jobsket.ie. We already own the domain Jobsket.com and up to know this domain was linking to the Spanish site. This could cause some confussion and we have decided to put a welcome screen instead. So, from now on we would like to encourage you to use your specific domain .ie or .es.

The most important change from the user’s point of view is that from now on all the public CVs are accessible to everyone on the Internet. As Jobsket was in closed beta until now it public CVs were only accessible by other Jobsket users. One of the main objectives for Jobsket is to increase the visibility of user CVs thus helping you promote yourself. Therefore, if you have a blog or web page, we recommend you to install our widget so people will be able to visit your CV. There is already several people that have done it. The only steps you need to do is just go to your CV and click on “Share CV”. Then you will only have to copy the code that we provide and paste it on your web site. It is really that easy!
But, there has been also some other small changes. Most of these changes are internal, like for example, we have drastically improved the job offers extraction engine. But there is also some visible and interesting changes. For instance, you can now edit your profile to add your web or blog URLs. Both data will be displayed in your CV which will give you some extra hits. We have also added automatic language detection on CVs. And finally, we have updated CV page so it displays job offers relevant to your profile alongside your CV.
So this is a great day, but there is many more surprises yet to come.
